Community Walk-In Clinic Project

The South Okanagan Similkameen Health Care Society, in partnership with local physicians and health system stakeholders, is leading an urgent project to establish a new Community Walk-In Clinic. This vital initiative directly responds to the growing need for accessible, team-based primary care in our region.

With the pending closure of existing clinics and increasing pressure on our emergency departments, the new walk-in clinic will ensure that patients have access to same-day care when needed—keeping people out of the ER and connected to the right care in the right place.

We are still fundraising to bring this project to life. Your support will help fund essential infrastructure upgrades, including infection control measures and patient care equipment, and ensure the long-term sustainability of this community-led solution.

This clinic is more than a temporary fix—it’s part of a broader vision to strengthen primary care, support local healthcare providers, and improve the overall health of our communities.

Donate today and be part of the solution. Together, we can build a healthier South Okanagan.
